Speak Welsh!

A woman named Rosemary Dean claims to be kicked out of a shop because she spoke Welsh. The shop owner was offended by this kind of English and tried to kick Rosemart outside. Rosemary Dean was shopping with her sister and they were discussing what to buy and not to buy for another relatve in their native language when the shop owner asked them to speak English. This led to a discussion and Rosemary had to leave the shop but she refused. This discussion led to both women shouting against each other and the shop owner admitted discrimination against the Welsh. She believes that Welsh is a repulsive language. The shop owner claims another story but does not wish to give any comment.

I have to say, this really makes me laugh! In the Netherlands I have a similar problem when I spend my summer in “Friesland”. I think this whole story is blown up but it is a nice newspaper filler! I should say, let everyone be themselves and please do not judge people by the way they speak! But if it is true that the shop ownes was discriminating Rosemary Dean because she is Welsh, well than their has to be done something. Disicrimination is prohibited!
